The King University women's basketball team fell behind Lincoln Memorial University and Saturday. The Tornado fought back and pulled within two possessions in the final period, but their comeback fell short as the Railsplitters took the contest 60-53.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Period
- The teams went back-and-forth in the early going as a Rikkelle Miller layup pulled King within 9-8 six minutes into the contest.
- However, Lincoln Memorial scored six straight points before a Jordan Weir layup for the Tornado.
- The Railsplitters answered with a bucket to take a 17-10 lead into the second period.
- The King deficit grew to 27-14 following a 7-0 Lincoln Memorial run midway through the period.
- A basket by Brianna Dunbar and two free throws from Le'Aije Ellington cut into the Lincoln Memorial lead, but the Railsplitters held a 32-20 lead at the half.
- Consecutive baskets from Ashley Allen and Jada Campbell tried to get a Tornado run going, but the Railsplitters answered with a run.
- Lincoln Memorial went on a 12-4 run, taking their largest lead of the game at 46-28, and held a 48-30 lead going to the fourth period.
- Tori Smiley started the final period with a triple to get the Tornado offense going.
