As a new semester nears Northeast State wants students, staff, and faculty to feel safe on campus.
Students are invited to sign up for the Rave Guardian campus alert system. Rave Guardian sends emergency communications and news via text and email to a Rave user. The system alerts users at ALL Northeast State campuses. This service is provided free of charge by Northeast State.
Rave also allows users to communicate directly with the Northeast State Police Department as well as 9-1-1 through the app and provide virtual escorts via safety timers. Rave is available to the entire Northeast State community of students, staff, faculty, and campus visitors.
Students and staff download Rave Guardian from their favorite app store. Users can also register for Guardian and transform their mobile devices into personal alarm beacons. In the event of an emergency, critical information a user opts to share in the app will be provided to Northeast State to help them more quickly respond and help.
Once registered, a user may opt out of Rave SMS messages at any time by texting STOP to 226787.
