Of the 3,387 people living in Blountville in 2020, 38.6 percent (1,309) were women and 61.4 percent (2,078) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Kingsport Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 703. In the 65 and over age range, there were 266 females and 257 males.
