Of the 2,889 people living in Colonial Heights in 2020, 47.3 percent (1,367) were women and 52.7 percent (1,522) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Kingsport Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 46. In the 65 and over age range, there were 262 females and 244 males.
