On Tuesday, March 4, former Dobyns Bennett High School standout Jake Timbes’ current college team, the Belmont Bruins, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the North Alabama Lions.
The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.
The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 4 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.
