On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Dobyns Bennett High School standout Sophie Dean’s current college team, the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, won 4-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Christian Brothers Buccaneers.

The game took place at Sand Mountain Park. This was their first matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Railsplitters’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1:30 p.m. at Sand Mountain Park against Montevallo Falcons.
