8.8% of citizens unemployed in Hancock County in 2021

Hancock County recorded an unemployment rate of 8.8% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 216 people out of the 6,695 living in Hancock County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Hancock County has decreased compared to the 12% registered in 2020.
