WASHINGTON, D.C. - Last week, Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger introduced H.R. 4196, the One Flag For All Act, in response to President Biden's decision to center a pride flag in between American Flags at the White House.

Under this legislation, any flag, other than the U.S. Flag, will be prohibited from being flown, draped, or displayed at or on public buildings. Exceptions allowed under this bill include flags that represent a nation of a visiting diplomat, flags representing the state of a member of Congress, and the POW/MIA flag at military installations.

"Symbols of extremism have no place on the property of our federal government," said Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger. "Joe Biden's decision to hang a pride flag from the White House shows he cares more about promoting a radical gender ideology than honoring those who fought for our freedoms. The One Flag For All Act will ensure that the only flag being honored and celebrated on government property is the American Flag."

The Senate version of the bill was first introduced by Sen. Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-KS).
