The Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing (RCAM) recently collaborated with Dobyns-Bennett High School to conduct NC3 Precision Measurement Instruments training for Career and Technical Education engineering students.

The students who successfully completed the associated knowledge checks and hands-on lab activities were allowed to sit for the NC3 certification exam. Those students who passed the exam earned a nationally recognized NC3/Starrett/Snap-on industry credential in Tape and Rule Measurement.

The training was requested by Dr. Bo Shadden, CTE director for the Kingsport City Schools.

Greg Williams, RCAM instructor and certified NC3 instructor, conducted the training.

A total of 56 students earned the credential.
