Kellan Kennedy of the King University men's volleyball team has been named the Off The Block National Middle Attacker of the Week after a three-match week where he averaged 2.64 kills and 0.86 blocks per set, along with an attack percentage of .466 percent.
Kennedy opened the week with a 15-kill performance against North Greenville, with a total of seven blocks and an attack percentage of .619 percent in the reverse sweep. Friday against Emmanuel, he posted eight kills, with three blocks. He closed the week by posting 14 kills and a .435 attack percentage in a five-set win over Erskine, along with a couple of service aces.
Kennedy becomes the first Tornado to earn a weekly honor from Off The Block since March 8, 2021. This is his first award from the organization of his Tornado career.
