The King University women's tennis team closed out their fall schedule with a 5-2 win over nonconference foe Milligan Saturday night. The Tornado took the doubles point and four of the singles matches.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tornado took both doubles matches that were played, with Deniz Aytun and Mishka Koricinova taking a 7-5 win at the top flight, while Mireia Mas Ortega and Neem Shamsuddin winning 6-1 in their match.
- Aytun started singles play with a 4-6, 6-1, 10-4 win at the top flight, while Koricinova won 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 at the second flight.
- Shamsuddin picked up a win at the no. 3 singles flight, 7-6, 6-2.
- Mas Ortega rounded out the lineup with a 6-3, 3-6, 10-3 win at the no. 4 singles match to claim the fifth point for the Tornado.
- King will be back in action in the spring, starting March 8 with a home match against Erskine College.
- The Buffaloes will play one more match this fall, at Tennessee State on Nov. 6.
