As the only UT Extension 4-H center in West Tennessee nears phase one completion, the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture celebrated the donors, community partners, and University leaders who made it possible.
At the ceremony, the University showcased a state-of-the-art Youth Development Center under substantial construction featuring indoor-outdoor classrooms, an interactive garden and science labs. Students from area schools laid the final topsoil around the new Lone Oak tree, which is planted in the middle of the center.
Upon completion of phase one construction, these cabins will be able to house 65 campers throughout the year for overnight learning experiences for 4-H and other youth groups in West Tennessee. Lone Oaks Farm
