27.5 percent of King University students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 27.5 percent of King University students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

King University has 1,579 undergraduate students, of which 62 percent are women and 38 percent are men, and a total student body of 1,948 students. Of these students, 269 men and 267 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at King University with the most participants are all track combined (100), other sports (80) and baseball (67).
