On Sunday, March 2, former Dobyns Bennett High School standout Jake Timbes’ current college team, the Belmont Bruins, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their third matchup against the Fighting Irish this season.

The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 4 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against North Alabama Lions.
