On Friday, March 21, former Dobyns Bennett High School standout Jake Timbes’ current college team, the Belmont Bruins, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their first matchup against the Redbirds this season.

The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Illinois State Redbirds.
