On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Dobyns Bennett High School standout Sophie Dean’s current college team, the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, won 10-9 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lees-McRae Bobcats.

The game took place at Dorothy Neely Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Railsplitters’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. at Sand Mountain Park against Mississippi Choctaws.
