On Friday, Feb. 28, former Dobyns Bennett High School standout Jake Timbes’ current college team, the Belmont Bruins, lost 12-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Irish this season.
The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
